About UCA

As a specialist creative arts university, UCA created a unique community for students, where like-minded people can share the creative process and inspire one another. Collaboration between courses is encouraged, with fine artists studying with budding filmmakers and fashion designers working alongside architects. In this way, students benefit from exposure to a range of disciplines.

At the time, when the creative industries are growing faster than the UK economy as a whole, the influence of art, design and media in our lives has never been more clearly defined. UCA staff are leading practitioners in their fields, with fantastic links to the creative industries. The close connection between UCA and LSDM helps to keep LSDM courses in line with the latest industry trends and prepare you for professional practice.

As the second largest provider of creative arts education in the country, UCA launched thousands of students into exciting career paths with some of the most significant brand names on the planet. 94.6% of UCA graduates are employed (or in further study) within six months of completing their degrees, and UCA has been graduating students for careers in a number of rewarding roles.
