Storytelling as a didactic tool for university teachers for the design of online training.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the education sector was one of the most affected, the teaching method drastically changed. The face-to-face classes had to be quickly adapted to the online system, so the same practices as before were adopted, without taking into account that, now under this model, the lines of learning and the way of teaching the class changed. Although technology played a very important role, having classes under this online system has had an impact on student performance due to various factors. Emotions influence the development of the student, since through them action is motivated, and for its part, storytelling helps to create memorable moments, so these two aspects are key elements to attract the student’s attention. After analyzing the information collected in articles, books, research, etc., and doing a couple of interviews that support this research; The project applied in design, developed a didactic guide that helps the teacher to create memorable moments within the digital classroom through storytelling, in order to promote interaction and connection with students through emotions to attract their attention. This project was able to conclude that, although it is a fact that education will continue to adapt in different digital platforms, it is important that teachers are trained in these methodologies to increase their narrative skills to continue motivating the interest and development of the student despite not having a personal contact.
