The Web3 is an opportunity for digital creators to find new forms of work. This third phase of the Internet’s development promises deeper user engagement, a decentralised culture, and enhanced immersive experiences. Technologies including blockchain, augmented reality (AR), virtual reality (VR), and non-fungible tokens (NFT) are all significant contributors to this evolution. Web 2.0 designers (creators) will need to acquire additional skills to capitalise on the next version of the Internet. How does this change small design and marketing studios?
Smaller, regional design studios have opportunities to get ahead of their local competition but also expand their work to a global target market. Clients relying on Web 2.0 digital marketing strategies will soon need to transform their marketing strategy for the web3 generation.
